| The David L. Smythe Wound Center officially opened its doors with an unveiling ceremony honoring its namesake. Smythe was a patient at the wound center beginning in October 2007 and like many patients who receive treatment at the wound center, he was impressed with the care he received. However, he was so impressed that he made a gift of $500,000 as a gesture of gratitude to the staff who helped him through the healing process. More... |
